Brief:
To supply, install and load test 3 off percussion driven earth anchors (PDEA’s) through a 500mm concrete footing to a depth of 4m. The purpose of the anchors is to strengthen the existing foundation so that a crane can be installed on it.

Conclusion:
After suitably sized holes were cored through the existing footing the percussion anchors where installed, tested and certified by AR+R. The work was done in record time with hand held hydraulic equipment highlighting the efficiency of our system. Site space was very confined making percussion anchors the right choice for this project. Achieving load presented no challenges in the Perth dune sands.
